We are pleased to announce that the broadcast of “KAMUI —He’s behind you” (Original story: Eroki / Drawing: Shinko Konoshiro (serialized in Shogakukan “Manga One”)) will begin airing in July 2026. Additionally, information about the key visuals main cast, character designs, and production staff that will work on the anime has been released at once. Furthermore, a PV trailer is now available. The key visual depicts Shizuka, a high school girl with a unique ability that attracts ghosts, with countless hands approaching her. The frightened expressions and bold compositions symbolize the thrilling and exciting world view of “supreme” exorcism unique to this title.

Q. How did you feel after the recording session and how was the atmosphere on set?

Tomokazu Sugita (as Kamui)

The atmosphere on the set is sincere and serious. I let go of the urge to intentionally make things interesting and inspiring, and approached the recording accordingly.

Riko Aono (as Shizuka Mizuka)

The role and style are packed with energy, so my impression of the atmosphere on set during the recording was intense…(laughs) I felt a bit lonely after it ended, but with the story development and pacing, there are plenty of laughs, tears, and highlights, so everyone will see it soon! I’m also excited!

M.A.O (as Oichi)

We had a great time recording in a lively setting. I’m already excited to see how the original story will be portrayed in the anime!

Yuka Aisaka (as Kyoko)

The atmosphere on set was calm throughout, but personally, in every episode, everyone skillfully performs the “erotic fun” scenes. It was a very rare opportunity to see amazing professional skills up close…!

Shiori Izawa (as Inagawa)

It was a warm and pleasant atmosphere. This story is packed with horror, gags, and eroticism (?) Watching everyone’s wild performances was enjoyable, and the recording was full of energy! (laughs)

Kamui / CV: Tomokazu Sugita

The super handsome psychic with extraordinary abilities. His peculiar taste for only being aroused by supernatural entities and his uniquely perverted exorcism methods constantly make his assistant and decoy, Shizuka, blush. Though gruff, he does care for Shizuka in his own way.

Shizuka Mimizuka / CV: Riko Aono

A psychic girl aiming to be an ordinary student. Recognized by Kamui for her constitution that easily attracts evil spirits and supernatural phenomena, along with her exceptional running speed, she takes a part-time job as his assistant and decoy. She’s constantly troubled by Kamui’s unique and unprecedented exorcism methods.

Oichi / CV: M.A.O

The tsukumogami of a checkered doll. Having passed through the hands of numerous owners for over a hundred years, it was feared by monks and Shinto priests alike. It can freely manipulate its long black hair. After a certain incident, it took up residence at Kamui’s office and began assisting with exorcism activities.

Kyoko / CV: Yuka Aisaka

Shizuka’s classmate. Blonde-haired with a gyaru-like appearance, yet pure-hearted and afraid of scary things. Kindhearted and more devoted to her friends than anyone else. She harbors a strong admiration for Kamui, a handsome psychic she refers to as her “favorite.”

Inagawa / CV: Shiori Izawa

Shizuka’s classmate. A girl with black hair in twin tails. An occult enthusiast who mocks Kamui as a fake psychic. She spreads suspicious rumors and drags others into incidents, yet remains one of Shizuka and Kyoko’s cherished friends.
